Shreveport Krewe Of Centaur Parade Changing Directions

For years, we're used to the parades starting downtown and ending near Broadmoor.

But things are changing for this year's Krewe of Centaur parade.

This year, the parade will be running in the opposite direction... Starting near East Kings Highway and Preston, and ending in downtown Shreveport.

According to the Krewe, traffic and safety were the biggest concerns leading to the change.

The parade takes place February 11th.

So far, the Krewe of Gemini parade will continue the tradition of running downtown to Broadmoor.
