Shreveport Mayor’s Golf Cart Taken for a Joy Ride

Three people are in some big trouble today. They jumped in a golf cart during the 4th of July Celebration on the riverfront and went for a joyride.

Mayor Cedric Glover had parked the cart by the El Dorado Casino, but when he came back for it, it was gone. Police later caught up with the 3 and charged them with unauthorized use of a moving vehicle. 39-year-old Jason Lopez, 36-year-old Catherine Davis, both of Aledo, Texas, and Martin Leyendecker of Sugarland, Texas, were arrested for taking off in the cart which had been leased by SPAR for Mayor Cedric Glover.
