Shreveport Police Car Catches Fire

Quite a surprise for a Shreveport police officer over the weekend.

He was sitting in his police car near the station, when he smelled smoke. He got out of the car and a short time later, the vehicle went up in flames.

Corporal Marcus Hines tells KEEL News the car had recently experienced some minor maintenance issues. There's no word on exactly what caused the fire. No one was injured.
