Police are searching for a bank robber who held up a North Shreveport bank just after it opened for business today.

Just after 9am, a man walked into the Chase Bank branch on Freestate in North Shreveport and demanded cash from a teller. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect ran off on foot.

 Detectives with the Tactical Robbery Unit responded to the scene and were able to capture photographs from the bank’s video surveillance system. They are releasing them to the public in hopes of getting the suspect identified.
