Shreveport Police Search for Two Missing Adults

Shreveport police detectives are trying to locate a Shreveport man and woman who were reported missing by family members earlier this month.

Police say 29-year-old Cedric Reed, Jr., was reported missing on August 9, and family members haven't heard from him yet. Reed may be suffering from a medical condition that could alter his behavior.

Reed is about 6'1" tall and 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black and grey shorts, grey tennis shoes and black and grey socks.

Authorities are also trying to locate 63-year-old Jackqueline Thomas, who was reported missing on August 11. She was last seen in the 1700 block of Jamison Street in north Shreveport, and is known to frequent SporTran bus terminals.

Thomas is 5'1" tall and about 230 pounds. Anyone with information on Thomas' or Reed's whereabouts is asked to contact police at (318) 673-7300.
