Shreveport Shooting Victim Identified

Shreveport's latest homicide victim has been identified.

21-year-old Tellmell Leon Lyons Jr., of the 700 block of West 68th Street was shot multiple times at his residence after he opened his front door when someone knocked at around 6:30 P.M. January 12, 2017.

The shooting at the Woodlawn Terrace Apartments is the second gunshot homicide in Shreveport in 2017.

An autopsy has been ordered. The shooting remains under investigation.
