Shreveport’s Battle Of The Gumbo Gladiators

Between the rain and cold weather we've had over the past month or so I've found myself craving some really good gumbo. Well, if you're like me then you're in luck because coming in March is the 2018 Battle of the Gumbo Gladiators! The Battle will take place Saturday, March 24th in Downtown Shreveport at Festival Plaza.

All the proceeds from the event will go towards helping the work of the Volunteers for Youth Justice.

This event is FREE for the public to attend and if you want to try the gumbo from the competitors then it's only $2 per sample. The "Gladiators" are open for anyone to sign up for so it'll be both professional cooks as well as mom and pop recipes.
