Shreveport’s Farmers Market Is Set to Open for Fall Session on October 25, 2014

Shreveport Farmers' Market will open on October 25 for its fall session. It will run each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. through November 22.

In two pavilions in Festival Plaza, at 101 Crockett Street in downtown Shreveport, there will be a large selection of locally-grown fruits and vegetables, locally-raised meats, gourmet, baked and canned goods, and arts and crafts.

You'll also find various types of ready-to-eat foods will be available, along with tables at which to dine while listening to music performed by area musicians. Opening day will feature The Fiddlin' Tim Trio.
