Shreveport’s Mall St. Vincent To Host Second Annual Outdoor Summer Market

Mall St. Vincent has just announced that it will once again host the Mall St Vincent’s South Highland Summer Market every Friday evening throughout the summer, beginning May 15^th and continuing until July 24^th.  The event will run from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM under a large tent outside the mall in the parking lots adjacent to the historic St. Vincent Academy and will feature over 20 of the area’s most talented chefs, gardeners, artists and handcrafters.

“Giving back to and being a part of the community is something Mall St. Vincent takes great pride in and we are thrilled to once again host this family-friendly and community-oriented event that was very well received last year,” said Steven Niles, General Manager of Mall St. Vincent. “We have worked hard to transform the mall into Northwest Louisiana’s premier retail and social destination, and the Summer Market is another avenue that further enhances the unique customer experience offered at Mall St. Vincent.”

The Summer Market will feature high-quality food from some of the area’s top vendors and food trucks such as Go Greenly, Crawford Farms, Bee Goods and Newton’s Produce, as well as acoustic musical performances by local musicians. A seating area with tables and chairs will be provided for guests to relax and enjoy the evening.

Once again, different vendors will be showcased each week, so shoppers are encouraged to come out and support their fellow community members throughout the summer.  Strollers and pets are welcome, making this the perfect event for families to kick-off the weekend.
