South Bossier Fire Burns, Several Roads Shut Down

There is currently a 30 acre fire in south Bossier Parish at Four Corners in the vicinity of Highway 527, Highway 157 and Chinanook Road. 

Four to five wells have been shut down by the company that owns the wells out of precaution, but no wells are being threatened at this time.  South Bossier Fire District No. 2 is in command at the scene with Bossier Parish Fire District No. 1, the Haughton fire department, the Webster Parish fire department, and the Forestry Division is also present.   At this time, there are some structures in the vicinity, but wind direction is diverting the fire away from the structures.
