SPAR Spray Parks And Spraygrounds Open May 1 In Shreveport/Bossier

SPAR’s spray parks and spraygrounds open on Friday, May 1st!

It's official! The warm summer weather is here! The perfect time for the kids to get out and enjoy a free, fun activity right here in Shreveport/Bossier City.

SPAR’s spraygrounds are located at the following community centers:

• Airport Park Community Center – sprayground at 6500 Kennedy
• David Raines Community Center – sprayground at 2920 Round Grove
• Hattie Perry Community Center – sprayground at 4300 Ledbetter
• Lakeside Community Center – sprayground at 2100 Milam
• Querbes Community Center – sprayground at 3500 Beverly
• A. C. Steere Park – spray park at 4009 Youree
• Riverview Park – spray park at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway

The spray parks and spraygrounds are popular neighborhood amenities, offering relief from the summer heat. The cool spray of water lowers the body temperature and offers fun for all during the summer. Use of the spray parks and spraygrounds are FREE of charge.

SPAR spray parks and spraygrounds are open from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week. Riverview Park’s spray park operates seven days a week from 7 AM to 1 AM and has a wind sensor that will shut down the fountains if the wind gets too high. Grab your swim suit and cool off this summer with SPAR!
Water shoes are recommended.
