Stage Center, the theatre group that brought "Bonnie and Clyde," "Cabaret," and "Jesus Christ Superstar" to local stages this past season has announced they will be holding auditions for next year's big musicals.

Stage Center will be auditioning actors and singers, age 16 or older, for the upcoming musicals "The Little Mermaid," "Into The Woods," and "Next To Normal;" as well as the play "Steel Magnolias."

AUDITIONS - 2016 SEASON GENERALS ROUND ONE - Sunday, September 13, 2015
Who: Actors ages 16+ (NOTE: Dancers interested in Disney's The Little Mermaid will be seen at a dancer call to be scheduled at a later date. Auditions for children will be held in January.

Where: Stage Center Studios at the Highland Center, 520 Olive Street, STE A-01. (Enter through the glass doors at the back of the building, off Stephens, and go downstairs. There will be adequate signs in the building.)

When: Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 2:00PM-3:00PM - Actors will be seen on a first-come, first-seen basis. We will stay for as long as it takes to see everyone who signs in between 2:00PM & 3:00PM.

Details: Actors should visit the show page(s) to view the list of available roles. We ask that actors prepare a song from one of the shows. If you are interested in more than one role in the season, choose the one that closest resembles your vocal and physical type. Additional auditions MAY be held based on the needs of the production at the sole discretion of the artistic staff.
