What is the issue, exactly?

The holiday cups at Starbucks this year are just plain red. I got one the other day. No snowflakes, no dog sledding, just plain red. And some people are mad that they aren't Christmas-y enough.

Why is this a problem? Because some people are saying that they feel that the plain red cups are oppressing Christians by insulting Christmas and that Starbucks is joining in on the "War on Christmas."

What do you think? Is the plain red cup a big deal or not really? We should note that Starbucks says that it does intend to offend anyone with their cup design and that they “welcome customers from all backgrounds.”
