Susan’s Closet Sale Is This Saturday in Shreveport to Benefit Susan G. Komen

Susan's Closet is this Saturday in Shreveport. It's your chance to get a great deal on a formal or semi-formal dress. This is a benefit for the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It's from 8am to 2pm at First Baptist Church Gymnasium on Ockley in Shreveport. This event aims to outfit high-school and college age girls with beautiful and current pre-owned formal dresses for their many special occasions like homecoming, pageants, and prom. Girls and their parents from all over the ARK-LA-TEX area are invited to peruse the racks of many dresses which will be donated from locals and sold for $25 each, regardless of the original purchase price.  There is a 3 dress maximum per girl and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Northwest Louisiana affiliate of Susan G. Komen of the Cure.

Susan's Closet needs gently used, current, formal gowns of all sizes to be donated in order to make this event a success.
