Suspects Sought in Shreveport Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in west Shreveport that left a local man recovering from several gunshot wounds.

Patrol officers were called to the Woodlawn Terrace apartments in the 700 block of West 68th Street to a report that a man had been shot there. When they arrived, they found 31-year-old Christopher Washington suffering from multiple gunshots to the arms. He was taken to University Health for treatment.

Violent Crimes Unit investigators found out Washington was among a group of males involved in a verbal dispute that erupted into an exchange of gunfire. Crime scene evidence was collected and submitted.
