The Grammy winning singer and song writer, Adele, recently underwent microsurgery on her vocal cords to remove a benign polyp.
The surgery took place at Massachusetts General Hospital by Dr. Steven Zeitels. Dr. Zeitels is purported by the hospital to have had pioneered many surgical procedures that are used on the vocal cords of singers.
