During the course of the investigation, agents discovered 121 children’s identities from across the country had been stolen in order to create these fake identities.
All-in-all, the officers found multiple cloned bank cards and the recently purchased gift cards on them, and 20 more cloned cards, a skimmer, multiple thumb drives and a laptop that could be used to make more cloned cards in their vehicle.
Recently skimmer devices have been found in Avoyelles, Calcasieu, Jefferson, Lafayette, Orleans, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Tammany, and Washington Parishes.
