Bill Banning LGBT Discrimination In The Workplace Moves Forward
A bill that would prevent members of the LGBT community from being turned down or fired from jobs based on their sexual orientation has made it out of committee and now can be considered by the full Senate. New Orleans Sen. Troy Carter authored the bill and says "There are people day in and day out in this country, in this state, in this city, in this building, who are being discriminated
