Within two days, East Texas has two state high school football championship titles coming home! For the fifth time in school history, the Carthage Bulldogs are state champions! In the battle for Class 4A Division I, the Carthage Bulldogs had to face off against the Bulldogs of Abilene Wylie in Arlington at AT&T Stadium.

High school football is not done yet! An East Texas high school football team has one final game to play! Their season began way back in August with early morning practices in the Texas heat. They've played just about every Friday night since the school year began and playing in this game is what a lot of players have dreamed about all year long and for some, since they've began playing the sport.
