Mother's Day is hard for me. In 2001, when I was just twenty-five years old, my mother lost her battle with cancer. To anyone who will be missing their mom this Mother's Day, please read this poem, and know that someone out there understands.
Sure, odds are you are all NEEDY and force your mom to drop whatever she is doing and be attentive to you practically every day of the year. This Mother's Day, why don't you take your selfishness and place it on the porch, if only for one day?
