If you’ve ever wanted to watch Daniel Bruhl make Robert Downey Jr. eat a ping pong ball in a Berlin restaurant, congratulations, your wish just came true. In a new German promo video for Captain America: Civil War, Bruhl — who plays the film’s villain, Baron Zemo — takes the actor occasionally known as Iron Man on a little tour of Berlin, stopping in a restaurant to treat his co-star to some authentic German food…including ping pong balls, for some reason.
He’d already majorly hinted that it would happen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but now Sony’s official Twitter account says it’s confirmed: Robert Downey Jr. will appear in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot from Sony, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Not to be confused with Disney’s ever-growing slate of live-action remakes which includes a Pinocchio project, Warner Bros.’ has had a Pinocchio movie of their own in development for years, with Robert Downey Jr. attached to play the role of puppet creator Gepetto. This week, the publication has released the list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, with Jennifer Lawrence taking the number one spot followed by Scarlett Johansson — hardly surprising, but what makes this list interesting is that many of the women on it earn far less than their male counterparts.
If you enjoyed Jared Leto's take on the 'Intense Staredown' segment from 'The Tonight Show' -- okay, it was good, it really was -- you're going to love Robert Downey Jr.'s spin. 'The Judge' star hit the show last night to chat about all kinds of things with host Jimmy Fallon, but the uncontested highlight of his visit was the truly intense stare-off between the two.
There's been a lot of 'Iron Man 4' talk over the past few days as Robert Downey, Jr. continues his whirlwind promotional tour for 'The Judge' across a multitude of talk shows. He's confirmed it, issued demands, backpedaled, confirmed it again and now, via an appearance on David Letterman last night, he clarified all the recent rumors and (we think?) issued the definitive word on 'Iron Man 4' and his future at Marvel.
