Being a dedicated student of pop culture, I can't help but make the rounds of all of the tabloid sites each morning and these are the stories that blew my mind today!

Because the movie 'Sharknado' wasn't enough, another SyFy thriller featuring sharks is coming soon. Get ready for ‘Avalanche Sharks.’ Twitter users understandably thought sharks coming out of tornadoes was crazy, so they've already been tweeting like crazy about the upcoming SyFy movie. It's the bad movie that won't die! Syfy network's 'Sharknado', which premiered a month ago to surprisingly large audiences - and universally terrible reviews - is now headed to movie theaters. The made-for-TV movie about a tornado of sharks will make its big screen debut August 2nd  at 200 Regal movie theaters across the nation, including New York City and Los Angeles.
