St. Patrick's Day falls on a Monday this year, but that doesn't mean Shreveport is staying in. We're throwing a post-Patty in the Plaza party tonight (Monday, March 17) at Phoenix Underground with some super-low drink specials and door prizes.
Mother Nature sent some rain to Shreveport-Bossier this weekend, but that didn't stop us from turning Festival Plaza into the place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We said Patty in the Plaza would go down rain or shine, and it did. When did a little rain stop Shreveport from having fun?

Shreveport, much less the Ark-La-Tex, is hardly a hotbed of Irish descendants. Nonetheless, it would be advantageous to each and every one of us planning to celebrate St. Patrick's Day to be able to at least sound a little Irish -- especially with 96.5 KVKI's 'Patty In the Plaza' coming up.
