Seeing as rain is a natural occurrence, it would seem strange to some that capturing and then saving that rainwater would be illegal. That being said, in some states, while it is not illegal to capture and save rainwater to care for animals or to water plants or crops, it is restricted when it comes to using that saved rainwater for human consumption.

Less than a week removed from golf-ball (or bigger) sized hail falling from the sky, we could see round two late this evening.

Just before 4 p.m. today, the National Weather Service in Shreveport issued a severe thunderstorm warning for our region.

Mother nature had teased us with a chance of rain the last two days. Then, on the day with the least chance for rain, we got rain... Plus wind and lightning. But, no matter how the rain came, I'm just glad it came. Heck, I'd almost forgotten what that liquid from the sky was!!!
