Terminally Ill Valerie Harper To Join ‘Dancing With the Stars’
The newest cast for season 17 of 'Dancing With the Stars' won’t be made public until next week, but gossip website TMZ is reporting that 74 year old actress Valerie Harper will be one of this year's contestants, despite being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
TMZ says that Harper, who was told in March she had just months to live, will be dancing this season and is expected to be partnered with pro hoofer Tristan MacManus.
TMZ also reports that 'King of Queens' star Leah Remini, who recently made headlines for quitting Scientology, will be along for this season, along with 'Jersey Shore' bad girl, Snooki (Nicole Polizzi).
Also rumored to be among this year's cast members are Elizabeth Berkeley ('Showgirls'), Amber Riley ('Glee'), singer Christina Milian, Jack Osbourne and former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.
