Tara Tarleton is a wardrobe stylist at Twisted Simplicity Boutique in Frisco, Texas. She recently found herself driving across north Louisiana, perhaps a little too fast. Well, Tara, a black woman, was pulled over by two Louisiana State Troopers, both white.

Let's be blunt. Race relations across the USA are, to put it mildly, a little tense of late. But, well, let's let Tara tell her own story from her Facebook page:

"Ok so I was pulled over; I was in the wrong, and yall know I had an attitude, lol! I was asked to step to the back of the car to discuss why I was pulled over. After reluctantly walking to the back of my vehicle, mean muggin of course, the first thing the officer said to me was, SMILE! His words instantly melted everything negative in me that my past, the media, and our society had poured into my spirit. We talked, we laughed, and took advantage of a perfect photo opp! Now share that! ‪#‎epicyearofselfdiscovery‬ ‪#‎guardyourears‬‪#‎guardyoureyes‬ ‪#‎guardyoursoul‬ ‪#‎lawenforcementdoneright‬‪#‎IloveLouisianamen‬"

In only 24 hours Tara's Facebook post about her "run-in" with the state police has garnered over 16,000 "likes" and has been shared more than 6,000 times. How about #hopeforhumanity!
