The App That Will Find Your Dogs Perfect Match
It's like a Tinder for your dog. You have several profiles to read through. You find your pets perfect match, and then you ask the question. "Are you available to board my dog on these dates?" Since I am rather new to town and my dog is a jerk to cats, I had to find a way to get someone to babysit her for a weekend. A friend told me about the app Rover and let me say, it's amazing! It's an app that helps pet owners find Dog boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, doggy day care and dog walking. You click what service you need and then you see a list of profiles with pictures of your dogs potential babysitters. You see what they charge per day and it is far cheaper than any dog boarding company I had looked into. Each sitter has reviews and stars they're rated from 1-5 stars.
First I had to make a profile for both myself and Olive my dog. I refuse to lie to whatever victim ends up with my dog for the weekend. So just like I used to do on my Bumble (Dating App) I made my opening line as honest as possible. "Olive is a butthole". I found a dog sitter who has no cats and no dogs, and that means Olive would have him all to herself. The dog sitter reached out after I sent him a request and we arranged to meet up at his place so my dog Olive would approve of him. She walked in to his home and after she sniffed around she jumped on his couch and gave me the "he will do" look. If you find yourself needing a pet sitter, a dog walker, or anything in between check out Rover!
