Ever wondered how Charlaine Harris' southern vampire series caught the eye of True Blood's creator Alan Ball? Apparently he was early (for once) and stopped into a book store when he saw her Sookie books. And the rest is history!

Isn't that crazy?!?!? It just proves how much of life is truly based on chance... How cool is it that sweet Charlaine Harris of Magnolia, Arkansas, writing about the metropolis of Shreveport, Louisiana and it's wickedness was discovered by Alan Ball, almost by accident?!?!?

Is anyone else really not okay with this being the final season of True Blood? I'm having a serious problem with this. First I had to deal with the sadness when the book series came to an end and now we're in the final season of the TV version? It's too much for this girl to take!
