The Best Fireworks Displays In Louisiana
Fireworks are gonna be up in the air this weekend. But what city is going to have the best display?
To answer that question, of course Shreveport is going to represent once again this year, but according to Only In Your State, there are quite a few other cities around the Bayou State that will knock your socks off.
- Celebration on the Cane, Natchitoches - This annual Independence day celebration takes place on Cane River Lake in downtown Natchitoches, with free live music and local shopping. The festival is July 4 from 12p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Downtown River Jam, Monroe - The party starts on Saturday, July 2nd kicking off at the Downtown RiverMarket. From 6-9 p.m., the Downtown River Jam kicks off, featuring many musicians. Come dark, the fireworks begin!
- Independence Day Festival, Shreveport - The 8th annual event will take place at the Shreveport Riverfront on July 4 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Expect to enjoy the Steak Cook-off, dodgeball exhibition, and a full children’s area that is sure to entertain kids of all ages. And of course, the fireworks!
