(Warning: Sarcasm Alert) Thank goodness, Triangle shaped pastries will no longer be served in the British school lunch rooms. Someone might have really gotten hurt.

The Castle View School in England escaped near tragedy when one student was hit in the eye by a triangular shaped cookie. Fortunately, the child that was sent home, has since made a full recovery.

Now for the pathetic part of the story, the school has actually held and investigation and they have decided to ban the three-point pastry.  They can still serve the "flapjack" pastry, but it can only be in the form of a triangle, rectangle or circle.

When asked by the BBC for feedback on the situation, the headteacher of the Castle View School declined requests for comment.
