The Krewe of Gemini Brought the Good Times to the SBC [PHOTOS]

The Krewe of Gemini parade rolled through the SBC earlier today and as my first Mardi Gras parade, I couldn't have had more fun!

Yes, I'm almost ashamed to admit that this was my first Mardi Gras parade, but it was. I haven't lived here long and I have to admit, I'm pretty much addicted now. I caught my fair share of beads (it pays to have a very tall husband), but fell victim to the puppy-dog eyes of a small child. She left that parade very pleased.

The two elderly women pictured above really raked those beads in. Their arms were like the tongues of lizards snatching beads both left and right. It obviously wasn't their first parade.
