Phrases like "Someone up there must be watching out" or "there must be an Angel watching over you" have a whole new meaning to Joe Berti of Austin, TX.
Joe Berti must be the luckiest man alive. He as not only survived the Boston Marathon Bombing, but also the massive explosion in West, TX.

How this happened was that Joe was running the Boston Marathon for charity and crossed the finish line a mere 30 seconds before the first bomb went off.

Thankfully, he wasn't hurt by the bomb, though his wife, Amy, was hit with some shrapnel. (The lady next to Amy lost her leg from the blast)

If that wasn't enough, Joe was driving home from a meeting when he drove right past the fertilize plant, right after it exploded.

That means, if Joe was a cat, he would have only 7 lives left.

Joe says, quote, "It's a miracle. People keep saying, 'Don't you feel unlucky?' and I was actually the opposite, saying not only do I not feel unlucky, but I feel blessed that my wife could be 10 yards from the explosion and not have a scratch."
