The New Orleans Saints spent their Friday night adding three more players to their defense, and an additional weapon on offense.

In the second round, the Saints added another defensive back, picking up Utah safety Marcus Williams, who had 10 interceptions over his last two seasons in college.

Even after the Saints added former NFL MVP running back Adrian Peterson to a backfield that already include starter Mark Ingram, the team drafted Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara in the third round.

With their last two picks of the night, the Saints added more to their defense, with the selection of Florida linebacker Alex Anzalone and Florida Atlantic defensive end Trey Henderickson.
