One of Mel Brooks' laugh-out-loud comedies is headed to Shreveport-Bossier.

Max Bialystock is a musical producer who has been down on his luck. He can't put out a decent production to save his life. Until Leo Bloom walks into his office. Leo is a brilliant accountant who left his job to pursue his dream of becoming a Broadway producer.

Bialystock is reluctant to take Bloom on since he barely has money to feed himself. However, Bloom lets it slip, that a flop could actually garner more money that a hit. Bialystock is sold. They'll create a storyline, put together the musical, raise $2 million dollars and when the time is right, they'll split for Rio.

Now, to come up with the worst flop Broadway has ever seen!
