Today in Lindsay Lohan: Stolen Clothes, Hidden Cash and Dreadful Fathers

It’s been a few days with no significant Lindsay Lohan news, but you knew that couldn’t last.

The latest? She reportedly stole a ton of clothes from the set of ‘Scary Movie 5,’ but maybe that’s because she’s nervous about keeping actual cash around and needs something to trade for life’s little necessities like food, shelter, and piles of blow.

A source told the National Enquirer that the actress took $15,000 worth of skirts and tops while filming her ‘Scary Movie’ cameo, adding, “I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel.”

“All the other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay,” the insider said. “At the end of the day the producers decided it was more trouble than it was worth to try and get them back.”

See, this is why no one should complain when she doesn’t show up for work.

Meanwhile, TMZ obtained text messages between Lindsay’s lawyer and her soulless dad Michael (guess who handed those missives over) that indicate she’s not just spending more money than she has, she’s paranoid about using traditional methods to keep the stash safe.

Apparently Lindsay was recently paid $150,000 in cash (!!!) to endorse an energy drink called Mr. Pink, but she made the deal herself without involving her attorneys or management team — upsetting them because they thought they could’ve negotiated a higher fee.

Michael, always the caring father, is “concerned” that instead of putting the money in her own bank account, Lindsay gave it to her brother to put in his account for safekeeping. Daddy Dearest said he’s “worried” this means Dina Lohan could get hold of it, but the more likely story is he’s just pissed he can’t get to it himself.

And the band played on.
