Tom Cruise Returns as Maverick, Shark Week + More [VIDEO]

It’s been an unbelievable 30 years since the original Top Gun came out and in a totally ridiculous hint, that barely qualifies as a hint, a producer for the upcoming Top Gun sequel (yes, yet another Hollywood repeat) said, "There is an amazing role for Maverick in the movie, and there is no 'Top Gun' without Maverick, and it is going to be Maverick playing Maverick." If you’re reading that the same way I am, Tom Cruise will be making a comeback. I wonder who will take his breath away? A drone perhaps?

We always knew American culture was pervasive, but did you know that Australians like Keith Urban say they ‘almost feel like (they know) what it meant to grow up in and live in America’ because of American TV and John Mellencamp!

FYI, the countdown is on for Shark Week… It starts this Sunday on the Discovery Channel! Even Billy Idol is excited!
