Want To Lose Weight? Eat at Starbucks
Subway has Jared and now Starbucks has Christine Hall.
Christine claims to have dropped 85 pounds by only eating and drinking, exclusively, at Starbucks for two years.
Now I am all about a Quad Venti Non-Fat Latte, but every meal…and you didn’t think they had enough on the menu to nosh on.
According to her story:
Breakfast was coffee and oatmea
Lunch and dinner consisted of a Panini or a bistro box
If she exercised that day, she’d eat one of the Starbucks baked goods, like a chocolate brownie.
In then end, she lost weight by cutting calories and not eating a lot of carbs and sugared coffees, meaning that she was only eating around 1,000 calories per day.
The part of the story that is hard to swallow for me (pun intended) is that this one woman spent almost $12,000 to lose close to 85 pounds over 2 years. She says it was worth it. Take a look at the picture and see for yourself.
“Nothing hurts anymore. I used to attribute some of my aches and pains to aging [but now] I have no medical issues whatsoever. I just feel like a kid again.”
And thus, I now have an excuse to go to Starbucks more often. I do call it “the nectar of the gods”…and I guess the PX2o of the food chain.
