Weekend Fire Destroys Bossier City Home

A fire early Sunday morning destroys a home in the 3200 block of Tammye Lane.

Firefighters arrived shortly after 3 a.m. to find the home fully-engulfed in flames. They had the blaze under control within 10 minutes and managed to keep it from spreading to nearby homes.

A family of five inside at the time of the fire managed to escape uninjured. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
