Welcome to Woo’s World

Hello everyone, and welcome to Woo's World. I'll be sharing all kinds of things about myself and hope to get to know you as well. I'm a Master Gardener, play Bridge (admittedly not well, but I try!), am a food junkie and was one of the founding members of the Krewe of Centaur. I personally coordinate all the Specialty Units for the Krewe of Centaur Parade and help to put it on the street.

I have five grandchildren and can tell plenty of stories about them. My two dogs, Tricksey and Blondie, are escape artists and the scourge of the neighborhood. I was also there when KVKI went on the air, so expect plenty of crazy stories about the station's early days.

My grandchildren gave me the nickname "Woo Woo," so it's a fitting name for these stories. I think we're going to find plenty to talk about. I invite you to meet me right here every Monday through Friday to read about what's going on in the city and in my life.
