So the New Orleans Saints have officially added former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson to their backfield. Which has some fans really excited, and others a little timid. However, even the most skeptical fan has to admit that a healthy AP will instantly help ANY offense, let alone a Saints offense that already had Drew Brees running the show.

But injuries have been an issue over the last few years for Peterson. He's only played 20 games over the last three years, but that 2015 season mixed in featured an All-Pro performance with 1,485 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.

Peterson has proven he's an athletic freak when it comes to injuries too. That 2015 season was coming off a pair of hernia surgeries, and then there's the mythical 2012 season. In December of 2011, in a game against the Washington Redskins, Peterson shredded his knee. Tearing his ACL, and forcing him into surgery. Which for most, is a career-altering surgery. When he came back early (WAY early compared to others who recover from that surgery) there were a lot of people screaming that it was a mistake, but after 2,097 rushing yards and 13 total touchdowns, we were all in shock.

So what will the Saints be getting with AP? Probably won't be the guy in these highlights, but let's go ahead and enjoy what could be...
