The Department of Transportation and Development launched "Pick the Paint," a campaign encouraging you to choose the paint color to be used when the bridge is painted. You still have time to get your vote in. More than 3,000 people have voted so far. What color is winning? Purple is the top choice so far with over 34%. Blue and red are following closely behind. "Pick the Paint" is part of a project to rehabilitate the Jimmie Davis Bridge. The project is scheduled to go to bid this fall. If you want to weigh in on a color choice, the deadline is May 2nd.
