What Did You Like Most About the Academy Awards?

Ellen DeGeneres was good, but not spectacular. She’s getting mixed reviews this morning. Here’s a recap of some of my favorite moments from the 2014 Oscars.

I did like this photo DeGeneres took with several stars for a record-breaking tweet:

It was nice to see Bossier City’s own Jared Leto win an Oscar, but my very favorite moment of the night was the tribute to “The Wizard of Oz”. Pink did a great job singing “Over the Rainbow.”

I also loved Meryl Streep and thought she looked incredible. She broke a record this year with 18 nominations. I was also glad to see Matthew McConaughey win the Best Actor trophy for “Dallas Buyers Club.” That was a special moment.
