The royal baby's name needs to be fit for a king -- or at least a prince. Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton gave birth this week to a baby boy, which narrows the possible names she and Prince William have to choose from. But the question people are asking now is which name the royal couple will choose for their royal baby boy.

According to the UK's BabyCentre, the top 10 names for baby boys in 2012 were:
  1. Harry
  2. Jack
  3. Oliver
  4. Charlie
  5. James
  6. George
  7. Thomas
  8. Ethan
  9. Jacob
  10. William
While the above names would work just fine, we'd love to see the royal couple think American. You know, in the spirit of national friendship and the amount of work hours US companies lost to employees who constantly checked Twitter and Facebook for royal birth news this week!
Here's the list of the top 10 names for baby boys in the US last year:
  1. Aiden
  2. Jackson
  3. Ethan
  4. Liam
  5. Mason
  6. Noah
  7. Lucas
  8. Jacob
  9. Jayden
  10. Jack
