Cory and Elizabeth had the privilege of visiting with Wheresie creators and local Louisiana entrepreneurs, Dr. Wyche Coleman and Daniel Simpson. They informed us that as parents, our first instinct is to protect our children and keep them safe. Unfortunately, we hear news reports all the time about children forgotten in hot cars and child drownings.

They developed Wheresie to prevent these kinds of accidents. Knowing most people carry their smartphone near them at all times, they went about creating a device that attaches safely to your child and virtually “leashes” them to you through a smartphone application. If your child ventures beyond a preset distance from you or caregiver in charge of your child, you receive an immediate alert on your Smartphone.
