Medical examiners have finished performing the autopsy on Whitney Houston but couldn’t determined the cause of death. According to TMZ, results are inconclusive until a toxicologic report is completed, which usually takes four to six weeks.

Houston died on Feb. 11 in her room at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California. According to reports, the late 48-year-old pop icon was found in the bathtub with her face underwater. There was also a number of different sedatives including Valium, Lorazepam and Xanax found in her room as well.

Houston’s untimely death is also compounded by her daughter Bobbi Kristina being hospitalized twice at Cedars-Sinai for mixing prescription sedatives with alcoholic drinks. “She tried to ease the pain of losing her mother by having a few alcoholic drinks,” a source told Radar Online. “She was distraught, on the verge of a complete breakdown. Not knowing what to do, members of her mother’s entourage tried to calm her down with a sedative. The two were an unfortunate mix and she ended up passing out.”

Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, has left his tour with New Edition so he can be with his daughter and family at this difficult time.
