Whitney Houston’s Daughter Bobbi Kristina Rushed to Hospital

Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was rushed to the hospital this afternoon. TMZ reports that Brown was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital on a stretcher.Law enforcement said police and fire departments responded to a medical emergency, but would not comment on who was transported or what the specific medical reason was.

Brown, 18, is Houston’s only daughter with exhusband Bobby Brown, who sobbed onstage when he learned of her passing yesterday (Feb. 11). Bobbi Kristina got into a verbal altercation with authorities last night when they refused to let her see her mother’s body. She was not allowed in the room and eventually left.

Houston’s death grows increasingly tragic with every new detail. Though the coroner is still awaiting results of a toxicology report and autopsy, sources say it is likely Houston took a deadly mix of Xanax and alcohol, resulting in her falling asleep or unconscious in her Beverly Hilton bathtub and drowning. Houston was 48 years old.

UPDATE: Us Weekly reports that Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized for stress. She is said to be “shattered” by Houston’s death. Our thoughts are with Brown and her family at this time.

Back in March of 2011, Bobbi-Kristina was photographed by her ex-boyfriend snorting cocaine and smoking marijuana, to which she denied all accusations, even though the pictures were published in the National Enquirer. That information came on the heels of Bobbi-Kristina announcing her own deal to star in a reality show about her climb to fame as a singer.
