President Obama warned that there would be painful budget cuts, but he's been saved from the pain himself.

Republican Rep. Steve Womak of Arkansas had proposed eliminating funding for Obama's teleprompter. Womack said Americans are being asked to do more with less, and Obama is a gifted speaker, so he should lead by example and lose his ever-present teleprompter. But Womack yanked the proposal after he was told Congress doesn't have authority over that expense, and he couldn't identify how much it would save.

When Obama heard the Republicans wanted to take away his teleprompter,  he was speechless!
