If it involves wine, I'm so in!

This Wednesday, Wine Country in Shreveport is hosting a wine tasting featuring The Prisoner Wine Company. The event begins at 5 p.m. and will last until 7 p.m. You'll have the chance to taste the entire line of Prisoner wines.

It's $10 per person and you'll receive 15% off all Prisoner wines that are featured on the tasting.

In addition, there will be some pairings for several of the wines, including on from Chef Anthony.

Featured on the tasting:

2013 The Blindfold ($33.99) - notes of pineapple, tangerine skins, orange skins, orange marmalade, melon and honeysuckle.

2012 The Cuttings ($60.99) - powerful and structured, with intense aromas of ripe dark fruit like sweet plum and red berries, black cherry and subtle spicy notes of cedar and anise.

2012 Thorn ($43.99) - dense flavors of dark fruits and rich plum.

2013 Prisoner ($43.99) - powerful and lush with flavors of Bing cherry, blueberry and cocoa.

2013 Saldo Zinfandel ($33.99) - persistent, long finish of roasted coffee beans, a hint of vanilla, pepper spice and smooth tannins.
