‘Wolverine’ Star Hugh Jackman Is This Week’s Hump Day Hunk [PHOTOS]

"The Wolverine" starring Hugh Jackman opens Friday. It's full of adventure and high drama. It's based on the celebrated comic book and takes Wolverine to modern day Japan.

HIS START

He started out in "Beauty and the Beast" and quickly become one of the top male actors in the world. He's landed a franchise role as Wolverine and has drawn legions of young people to theaters to see the next adventure for the super hero.  Before launching the super-hero movie career, he earned critical acclaim for his performance in the romantic comedy "Kate & Leopold" in 2001.  He's also a veteran of the musical stage, and has hosted the Tony Awards and the Academy Awards.

PERSONAL

He is married and has 2 children, a boy and a girl. He's often spotted on the beach having a day out with the youngsters. Hugh Jackman was born on Oct. 12, 1968, and raised in Sydney, Australia. He's one of five children and would often put on performances for his family. He actually has a journalism degree from the University of Technology in Sydney, but decided to make the move to acting. His swagger and sexy style earned him the distinction as one of the sexiest men alive by People Magazine.

He recently tweeted: "I'm an actor who believes we all have triggers to any stage of emotion. It's not always easy to find but it's still there."

He's the kind of guy who is not only sexy on the outside, but sexy on the inside, too!
