A Sulphur woman has been charged with negligent homicide in the death of a child while under her care. KLFY reports deputies were called o a home on Eunice Street in Sulphur because the 8-month-old boy wasn't breathing. 26-year-old Lacey Blount admitted using methamphetamine while the child was under her care. She attempted to hide drugs & paraphernalia while authorities were tending to the child. Blount has been booked on charges of obstruction of justice, possession of CDS I, possession of CDS II, possession of drug paraphernalia, and negligent homicide.
